Are you keen to start commuting, but lacking confidence? Or do you want to meet other local cyclists? This funded event is a great way to test out two different cycle route options in to the city centre from south Birmingham with other people.

We’ll meet at Cotteridge park shed between 10am – 11.30am. Where we’ll have some free teas and coffees. This will be an opportunity for us to do a free safety check on your bike before we leave. We’ll also have a few unusual and different bikes with us that you can have a go on in the safety of the park. these will include; mountain bikes, folding bikes, cargo bikes, bike polo bicycles and possibly some others too.

At 11:30am we’ll set of together into town following the Bristol road ‘blue route’. Once we get to the city centre we’ll take a short break where we can chat about the route and people can ask questions. We’ll then return to Cotteridge park by cycling along the National Cycle route 5. We’ll then finish up at Cotteridge park shed again.

All abilities are welcome on this relaxed-paced group ride, you must have your own bike however and it must be in a safe condition. If you’re unsure please feel free to bring it to our shop beforehand.
