Tom Crowther road bike
This frame was built with Reynolds 531 tubing by Tom Crowther in Solihull probably sometime in the 1970s. The original paint is in good condition considering its age and we’ve upgraded loads of parts to bring it into the present day(ish). We’ve put new Tektro brakes on, a 9 speed Shimano Tiagra groupset (apart from the front mech which is Sora). It has new bar tape, new tyres, new tubes and, as with all our refurbs, new cables and brake pads. We’ve also added a used Brooks B17 saddle to this bike and upgraded the rear wheel to a Mavic Open Pro rim laced to a Tiagra 9speed hub. Measurments are below, but it would suit a person 5’10” – 6’4″.
Top Tube 57cm, Seat tube 62cm, Down tube 64cm, Head tube 19.5cm
